Bryan Thompson joined Arixa Capital, a leading private real estate lender and investment manager, as its Chief Financial Officer in 2023.

Mr. Thompson is an accomplished leader in the private lending industry, with 30 years of experience as a finance/accounting executive in the mortgage space. Prior to his current role, he served as the CFO of Anchor Loans, where he was responsible for financial reporting, modeling, treasury functions, internal controls and human resources. During his tenure at Anchor, Mr. Thompson played a critical role in the acquisition of the firm by Pretium, an investment manager with more than $50 billion in AUM. Mr. Thompson had previously served as the CFO of leading mortgage companies, including Luxury Mortgage Corp and Skyline Home Loans, and has auditing experience with PwC and Arthur Andersen. His expertise has earned him recognition as a winner of the 2022 HousingWire Finance Leaders award, which honors top-performers in the mortgage industry.

Mr. Thompson holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from California State University, Northridge. For nearly a decade, Mr. Thompson has served as a board member for Forever Fund, an organization devoted to rescuing and caring for victims of human trafficking. He is also actively involved with a ministry to residents of an assisted living facility near his home. Mr. Thompson lives in Chatsworth with his wife, and they have four children and five grandchildren.
